Any idea of date, Hugh? The children look earlier than the woman by dress. And there must be a traffic issue looking at the bollards round the lamp - which looks to be gas - so after the gas works opened in 1857? And all that looks new so maybe the reason for the picture?

My guess is mid-Edwardian
