What happened there? I guess it just 'broke down'?

So this is the 29 bus of now ... a far cry from the double-decker diesel-driven version I was regularly dragged off by my mother somewhere between Harringay and Tottenham Court Road (?) to avoid her embarrassment at having a child being sick en route. And there's Disney's Furniture store ... now there's a name I remember! It was there long before I was.

Yes, this is one of the so-called Bendy Buses, so called because their length means they have to be articulated in the middle - you can see the grey articulation cowling just beyond the bus stop pole. (I should explain to other members, who may not know, that Flower writes to us from Sydney. So I'm not being a patronising old bugger - just not assuming that Flower will already know all these things)
