Hugh....................Queen Victoria Really Did Halt Here..........we've just been remarking on this topic and I've just stumbled on another pic showing the plaque, post of Jan 10th 2018.  But a very unusual view of the subject !!

Yes, John. You mean this post that I pointed you to from your question on the 'All that Jazz' thread? The image of the sign I added there was a crop of the full-size image above. All photos I published from Hackney Archives were at a reduced size as per my agreement with them.
