If I remember correctly, the taller building was the entrance to the theatre that was located behind this terrace. It was in later years used as a TV studio by "">ATV - part of the Independent Broadcasting Authority

ATV jingles (who used the theatre behind Wood Green High ROAD) are on the clip..

Thank you Stephen - some of those clips took me right back! Interesting that this was a TV studio. Sharing this stuff is surely the reason for this excellent website!
