Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

1934 Attack at Green Lanes Tobacconist

Miss Phyllis Storey ( assistant at a tobacconist's shop in Green Lanes in Harringay ) was attacked by two men - a man entered the shop and asked to use the telephone in the back room - as he went through he dragged her with him - she screamed and another man ( apparently an accomplice ) entered the shop - there was a struggle and both men ran out with one taking £3 from the till with him - a man has been taken into custody by the police - Miss Storey started work only last Wednesday - photo shows Miss Phyllis Storey at the shop where the attack took place December 1st 1934.

I'm afraid I don't know which Tobacconist.
