It's such a shame to see such good looking buildings so run down. Looks like there was a fire once before in the roof area? I've absolutely no idea why replacement windows have to be so ugly.. and why the council allows windows that open out on to/over the street. Especially as the originals didn't.. wouldn't be allowed where I live..

Pleased that there is now scaffolding up around this building. The roof is still missing but hopefully the repairs can now start - after two months of rain/snow etc. it will be quite a mess.

Actually that story (about suspected arson attempt) isn't to do with the flat and picture in this post - its about this one.

Too many fires on Green Lanes, whichever way you look at it ...
