Not sure if this info is already on the site but as you can see from Coopers Boxing Record here he fought a number of times at the Arena.
In fact Cooper's first professional fight was against Harry Painter here in Harringay on September 14 1954. Bit one sided it seems since he knocked Painter out in the first round.

This programme was for a bout against Welshman, Joe Erskine, to whom he lost on points after 10 rounds. He later beat Erskine twice for the British heavyweight title.

From the Obituary of George Cooper who debuted at the Harringay Arena in 1954 at the same time as his twin brother Henry. George, known as Jim because there was another George Cooper fighting, overcame the future European heavyweight champion Dick Richardson on points. However, he never rose to the heights of his brother Henry and retired in 1964 to take on the role of his brother's trainer and confidant.
