My mother, photograph taken in winter of 1963 in the front garden of 630 Green Lanes. Note the lack of traffic in those days.

Thanks for adding the photo Caroline. It piansyt a cost picture of post-war Harringay.
I see in the background, the low boundary wall to number 631. A little further up, was number 641, on the corner of Fairfax Road. Between them, there was still apparently a large empty plot which didn't get built in until the Sixties. Do you remember if it was in use in any way?
Yes it was in use Hugh. I have a photo of my Uncle in the front garden of the same house. It just about shows the name of the people who were occupying the space.
I was born in 1951 and lived in the house until 1965. It was sold and became, along with the house next door the Cypriot Community Centre.
I will find the photograph and post it.
Thank you. That would be much appreciated.
I have posted the photograph of my Uncle in the front garden of 630 Green Lanes. I think the space opposite was occupied by Siemens Glass, Which still seems to be in production
Thanks. I can't see that second photo.
I will post again. I know there was a delay with the last photo I sent..it had to be approved.
Have posted it again...it is awaiting approval.
Thanks - that's me being dende - quite forgot I had to approve it!
