When Tesco first started trading on Greenlanes back in 1950s it's original address was No5 Grand Parade Harringay. I know because I lived in the Flats above Tesco 5c, until I moved to Australia back in November 19641. Eddie Constable.

This looks as though it is under what is now the Snooker Club.  Tesco in the 1950's was along Grand Parade just passed the Salisbury Pub.

Hi Christine, yes it is under the Nooker Hall and the Salon Ball., which my two older sisters taught Ballroom Dancing, back in the good old days. I also used to play snooker there, on many occasions. Thanks for remembering. Eddie
