Nevertheless there IS a planning application for a large railway carwash type installation and certainly some residents nearby were sent Planning Application consultation letters by the council. Perhaps you are not close enough to the this development to be affected and therefore were not written to? But as there has been some general confusion (deliberate by the authorities perhaps?) there has been a deal of communication about the developments in Hornsey, especially the New River estate which will be severely impacted by the maintenance shed development.
