past Macdonalds under the bridge to Sainsburys.
My questions are:
Is there a four week time limit of notification?
Is it worth going to see the video evidence?
There is no 50% reduction in paying within two weeks: should there be?
Is this a done deal?
Thank you.

Since March 2008 the council has been trying to broker an agreement with Sainsbury’s and Wildmoor Properties, owners of the Arena Shopping Complex, on a number of measures to ease congestion around Williamson Road, N4, and its junction with Green Lanes.
The council has worked with TfL to secure an upgrade of traffic lights around the junction, due to start on Monday 3 November.
Sainsbury’s has also submitted a planning application designed to reconfigure traffic flow at the southern end of Williamson Road, which it manages together with Wildmoor Properties.
But following months of discussions, the two landowners are still unable to agree on the council’s main solution for easing congestion in the area.
This would involve temporarily stopping the right turn into the Arena Shopping Complex’s car park entrance closest to Green Lanes, to prevent traffic conflict between motorists entering the car park and those exiting Williamson Road onto Green Lanes.
Temporarily stopping the right turn would also enable Sainsbury’s and Wildmoor Properties to introduce a new two lane discharge from Williamson Road into Green Lanes, with left and right turn exits, which the council believes would substantially cut waiting times for motorists.
Under the council’s proposals, motorists would still be able to enter the Arena Shopping Complex’s car park from an entrance further along Williamson Road, and exit the car park from the access closest to Green Lanes.
The council is extremely concerned that there will be severe traffic congestion around the site in the run up to Christmas if the two parties fail to reach agreement on this principal measure.

o calculate the effect on the Ladder. It depends on where the customers come from. Any travelling from Stroud Green, Finsbury Park and the east of the borough will generate traffic for us even though some of that might be to the benefit of Green Lanes. I don't think we can assume that people will use their nearest Sainsbury's. My guess is that the Hornsey one will be managed for a slightly different demographic profile.
As to local benefit, we could look to the Harringay example for evidence.
If what is sought is regeneration, for me it's of critical importance to understand the options and compare the benefits & drawbacks of those vis a vis the Sainsbury's led option. …
the ones to lose out if TKM do move in are Sainsbury's, I am assuming the entrance will be where the current postal office entrance is and folks will park in the Sainsbury car park- or can they open up a section on the front facing Green Lanes?…

Haringey Heartlands
Sainsbury's Hornsey
Just to the East we have:
Tottenham Hale
Just to the South we have:
Woodberry Down Estate Redevelopment
And, slap-bang in the middle we have our own Sainsbury's
AND WHERE'S THE PLANNING TO DEAL WITH ALL THE TRAFFIC EFFECTS ON HARRINGAY - IS IT COMING OUT OF THE SAME POT AS THE PLANNING FOR HARRINGAY SAINSBURY'S?…
once suggested to Sainsbury's that they should put up notices saying
" Car Park Full - Do Not Enter " But, for some reason, they didn't think that was a good idea :-)…
er differences are a few other shops such as Next & Argos which don't attract that much custom relative to Sainsbury's & Homebase. The Arena development is actually quite small.
Maybe a supermarket has closed down in the surrounding area and therefore we have the extra traffic? Other than that it must be something to do with the road layout.
Richard of Wildmoor Properties is a pretty approachable sort of fellow. Maybe HOL should have a chat with him. Good first article for Liz's new radio podcast to be!…
