With our younger child now 9, the time has come to declutter our living room.We can offer a Silver Cross that lies flat and converts to a push chair facing the "pusher". Profile Information
As a long-term Ladder resident and as the somewhat mature father of a young family, I have become increasingly interested in issues which affect our community.
This has led me to become a governor of the South Harringay Junior School, and a member of the Ladder Community Safety Partnership.
In May 2010, I had the privilege of being elected to Haringey Council from Harringay Ward. As a Councillor, I am serving on the Planning Committee and am also a borough representative on the Haringey Race & Equalities Board.
I conduct surgeries on the third Saturday of each month at 11:00 am, at the Citizens Advice Bureau office at the corner of Hampden Road and Willoughby Road. I am hoping to add a further surgery in the autumn. In addition, I am happy to help residents at other times and can be reached by email at David.Schmitz@haringey.gov.uk and by phone on 07854 002742.
In the 2010 election I stood as the Lib Dem Parliamentary Candidate for Tottenham. Our campaign achieved a modest increase in our share of the vote, but a very substantial increase in the total votes cast for us. For this I am immensely grateful.
As a practising barrister I have on occasion given legal help to various community groups.

- Sorry this was a false alarm David, at least as far as the Haringey Parking Service is concerned. Of course the truck does belong to someone and Parking Enforcement should be able to identify the owner, since they have access to the DVLA records.

Yes it will be lots of work but I really think there'd be demand, unfortunately not from people using the railway network as they'd be better off walking given the frequency of the service...
