Friends of Fairland Park AGM - Wednesday 15th June 7.30pm

The Friends of Fairland Park AGM, will take place on Wednesday 15th June at 7.30pm in The Falkland Centre, which is opposite 59 Frobisher Rd (this is the  voting location for some people on the Ladder)We will be electing a new committee and discussing ideas for future events, including an outdoor film in September.Everyone is welcome attend.See More

North Harringay cricket team play at Lord's

In June 2009, May Alexander a teacher at North Harringay whose husband played weekend cricket took a team of boys and girls from Year 6 to compete in the Haringey 'kwik cricket' competition. 'Kwik cricket' is played with a semi-soft ball and is a great introduction to hard ball cricket - everyone in the team of has to bat, bowl and field.

Hi Adam, thanks for the article. It still surprises me how people react to it - cycling is *easier* than walking and certainly more pleasant than being on the tube or the bus. And I'm going so slowly that I barely break a sweat. My colleagues at work were scandalised that I was still cycling at six months, and then they just learnt to bite their tongues when the bike & I were still coming in at seven months, eight months, etc ...
Anyway, hope to see you soon - probably next time we will be able to introduce you to the newcomer!
