Haering's Hege on the Saxon Map
This map, researched and hand drawn by some local historians was featured on The Londonist five years ago. I can't speak to the quality of the research that underpins the map, but it's nice seeing our hege on the map!

Bruce castle was a Saxon manor house.
If they dig deep enough.....they will find saxon artefacts.
MORE archaeology is needed when our area is being redeveloped - at the moe, its just lip service, just to tick the boxes. -
