Thanks for the update Stephen. Chris

Thanks, Stephen. Is it to be photos at FP, Haringay or KX? Decisions, decisions. With the unpromising weather forecast, maybe Haringay wins...

It was never going to be a lazy, hazy, crazy day of Summer but FP station was cold and drizzly this early morning. To add extra spice, the charter went though on a different line! Attached are the pictures from what was a pretty unspectacular photo shoot. Roll on the next one!

Thanks for sharing the pics, I see it was the Oliver Cromwell. So Uksteaminfo had the right engine and company's own website got it wrong.

I missed this. Annoying because at 07.25 it sounded as if it were starting from rest at Hornsey station.

Chuff!     Chuff!    Chuff!  Chuff  Chuff Chuff !!

Next Saturday morning (29 June) could/should see "The Ebor Streak" pulled by 4464/60019 "Bittern" heading northwards through Finsbury Park at 08.23. Scheduled to leave Kings Cross at 08.15, the arrangements are finalised according to the website. A sunny Saturday morning would be nice!
