Tornado today - 26 August 2012

Let me answer my own question on another thread! Tornado did its stuff on time this morning, but it didn’t go onto the Hertford branch.

Some of the train buffs on the platform at Alexandra Palace were a bit put out that there were two red lights on the front of the engine, rather than the expected white lights. “Illegal running” exclaimed one! The thought was that this was an oversight after the train had been towed into Kings Cross backwards, when quite correctly it should have been showing red lights. See photo attached.

My grandchildren didn’t mind a bit!
