Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

TheCatherdrals Express brochure shows a Tornado train travelling to York from Kings Cross on 29th March. It will depart at 08.25 and get back into KX at 22.00.

I guess that'll be going through Harringay.

It is forecast that a Tornado will hit Harringay (West) at approx. 08.35am on 29th March, returning again in the evening at approx. 21.50pm....

Do you mean going through Harringay Green Lanes, or Harringay station?

Through Harringay station on the King's Cross to Edinburgh east coast mainline, formerly known as Harringay (West). What is now Harringay Green Lanes is a station on the Barking to Gospel Oak line and has been subject to a number of re-namings over the years.

Harringay Station's name changes are noted here. And I tracked down the more coomplicated story for Harringay Green Lanes here.

I don't know if this is addressed somewhere in this forum, but we have seen several steam trains on the Barking to Gospel Oak line; is it possible to tell when they will be running in future?

Thanks

According to the "Glorious days out by steam 2012" brochure, The Cathedral Express team will also have "Tornado" hauled Saturday excursions out of Kings Cross on 30 June and 11 August (Both depart KX @ 08.25) and one on Sunday 26 August - loco not specified, departing KX @ 10.30 going via Hertford North and Steveanage to Cambridge, Ely and Norwich. Whilst it will obviously be a pleasure to see "Tornado" (Which dominates the published programme), other London stations offer a choice of loco. Paddington has 6024 "King Edward 1", Victoria features 70000 "Britannia" as does Euston. Also out of Victoria will be 34046 "Braunton" and Waterloo offers 35028 "Clan Line". Does anyone know what has happened to 70013 "Oliver Cromwell"?
