Tornado alert, Harringay Sat 4 June 0815 approx

The Scarborough Flyer is due to depart Kings Cross at 0807 according to the UK Railtours site (no live times posted on Uksteam or Real Time Trains at time of writing), due York at 1315. Not returning to London in the evening, vintage electric loco instead.

PS Flying Scotsman should also be delighting the people of York on Saturday: it's due to arrive 45 mins after Tornado, having started around 0635 from London Victoria via St Albans and Melton Mowbray. If you're very very keen.....

I would have been on that if I hadn't decided I should be out on the rail replacement buses spreading the news of the Barking - South Tottenham rail closure and that the bus was now daily.

Thanks for this, Gordon. Because it was a grey morning, I went to Finsbury Park station (If it's sunny, I favour Alexandra Palace). Any way, Tornado looked splendid and if I can work out how, I will post the photo that I took.
