Sunday 1220 at Harringay after Saturday 0720, new engine 'Eddystone'

Early start Saturday, but another Sunday lunchtime catch-up. New engine 'Eddystone', a West Country class engine built in the 1940s. 'TheWhite Rose' to York.

Normally after passengers have left the train at Kings Cross the locomotive, empty carriages and diesel reverse as far as Hornsey, then reverse again and go on their way back to the base at Southall. Tonight this can't happen (don't know why, probably an overnight line closure) so the train will continue to Welwyn.

Sunday lunchtime it will complete the last leg. Accurate times here -
