Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Steam on Saturday - but at silly o'clock
The White Rose to York will feature 'Duchess of Sutherland'. Originally due to pass Harringay at twilight, about 0715, it was retimed a week or so ago since another (diesel) excursion had taken that timing slot. The new time is about 0615. Return about 2150.

That would need a very specialist customer base - those who get up at 5am. Or maybe it's like getting an early flight, arranging taxis and wandering about in a daze.

Even the stop at Stevenage, to pick up the M25-zone customers, is a little before 7. As said in another forum, a departure that early from Kings Cross negates using public transport for all but a few. I can't see it being a regular occurrence - the previous earliest I can recall at Harringay is 0645 but in high summer.
