Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Harringay station Sat 9 Dec 0900, steam-hauled excursion to Lincoln
Half a rerun of the two-hander from three weeks ago, at a later time but indifferent weather again. The 'Black Five' no. 44871 is doing the honours for the Lincoln Christmas Express (slight renaming from previous years since there's no longer a Lincoln Christmas Market).

Missed opportunity the previous day: Shoeburyness to Winchester was expected to run through Harringay Green Lanes, but is now running Barking - Highbury & Islington (1040) - Camden - Willesden instead.

Until Network Rail deals with the causes of the numerous temporary speed restrictions between Barking and Leytonstone, they will not be able to find a 'path' for a special train like todays Shoeburyness to Winchester steam special.
