Halloween treat from a Duchess, 0715 Sat 31 Oct

A rare sight in London, never mind in Harringay, is 'Duchess of Sutherland' or 46233. the only working 'Duchess' class express locomotive, built in 1938 by the LMS railway. It is based at the Midland Railway Centre, Butterley (between Derby and Chesterfield).

The first of three trips through Harringay is on Saturday morning about 0715 (booked departure from Kings Cross is 0708, details here). Return around 2110. The other trips are planned to be on December 5th about 0915 and Dec 12th about 0715.
