UPDATE about 0755. Times posted at 0540 Friday - I ask you.
Information is still being withheld from the usual sources. Sorry for the short notice and guesswork - I'll update the title if I get an official time.
All I have to go on is that many weeks ago the Railway Touring Co. gave an approximate departure time of 0810 from King's Cross towards York, but that's since been removed from their page. The return is around 2115, one of the few such in daylight since it's high summer.
I'm hoping that this link -
https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/search/detailed/gb-nr:KGX/2023-06-...
- will start to give the accurate times on Thursday a.m. or p.m., so do keep clicking.
Flying Scotsman's fame leads incautious spectators to cross strict railway boundaries and stand too close to the tracks which delays the train.
No-one will think of doing that here, will they?? Behind the yellow line thank you, DEFINITELY not down the platform ramps to track level.
PS It will also be here Friday 30 June, perhaps a little later.
PPS A good turnout for 'Mayflower' at Harringay Green Lanes recently.
