Nothing special - certainly nothing to match the Bittern. The above two diesel locomotives passed through Tottenham Hale today, (over the river Lee Navigation bridge), in the direction of Blackhorse Road station, Walthamstow. Both within 5 minutes of each other. The 66198 had no carriages or goods. The 66127, carried goods.

I think the EWS Class 66 diesel locomotives are fairly commonplace on both the Lea Valley and Barking-Gospel Oak lines, but as you say, are in no way comparable to the Bittern or any other steam engine for that matter. Thanks for posting details of the sightings though.
