Aghhh, am I too late? Or will they split between 3 ? :-)
Sorry Katy, there aren't really enough to split three ways!
darn - oh well. let me know if you have any more veg offspring up for adoption!
Will do. Maybe a few Basil or Rocket plants if they ever germinate in this weather!
I've had some luck with Basil this year - I shoved a few in the pots with my tomatoes as an experiment and they germinated outside within a few days.
out of interest - did you keep them warm, ie with top or bottom heat? Mine are just beginning to show now after about 3 weeks, but then again they are from a very old packet of seeds!
Well. I planted some in February inside on a windowsill, which worked fine (up within a week, and now going strong). But the ones I was referring to I simply popped in a pot outside around the base of a small tomato plant outside on the south-facing patio, on the 27th April. They're still just a couple of little starter leaves, but they've germinated and seem to be hanging in there ok, so we'll see what happens.

Seed was new this year (freebie from Mr Fothergills when I ordered some other stuff).
