Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Plant up a little extra to donate this Spring

Thought I'd plant this idea (geddit?) early this year that if you're sowing seeds or potting up cuttings for the summer to do a few more than you need in order to donate to local school fairs or other worthy causes.

I'm getting this request in now because every year, for the past few years, I've run the popular plant stall at South Harringay School at the July Summer Fair and demand always outstrips supply especially for tomatoes, beans, herbs and veg, succulents are always good, and pretty, recognisable flowers like geraniums, sunflowers, petunias etc always sell well. 

I'm not running it this year but I'm sure someone will, so I hope you'll join me in putting a few extra plants in pots this Spring planting season.

Thanks very much Liz! I'm helping to run it this year and would greatly appreciate any donations. The fair is on the 29th of June. Feel free to add me as a connection if you have anything to donate now, or nearer the time.

Just a little boost for this post and to say that there's a month to the South Harringay School Fair (other school fairs are available) and if anyone wants to donate plants to it contact either Liz or me (also Liz) to arrange drop off etc.
