Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi all, am hoping someone can help:
After a wet summer and an even wetter winter, my entire garden seems to be covered in moss. The flowerbeds, the paving stones at the back, the stone edges of the flowerbeds, and last but not least my poor lawn. It's everywhere. I am trying to dig it out of the flowerbeds as much as I can, but it's an uphill battle.
The garden is north facing so it'll be a while before the sun gets to all of it.

It's nice to have a bit of green, but this is getting ridiculous. It now feels like I turn my back and it's just doubled in volume.

Any advice very welcome!

If it's really bad, then probably moss killer is required...

If its any consolation our plague is called mind your own business, which is just everywhere - lawn, patio, border ... I don't mind it that much but it does tend to overwhelm more delicate things.

Looks like this. Funny we're so near and have different problems.

On bricks and concrete, paving slabs scrap it off. On lawns rake it back gently without ripping your lawn up and it's easy enough to take off top soil in borders. Chemicals can be avoided! And it's good exercise Anette. :)
Alison, I have plenty of that too, unfortunately. It's marginally less annoying than the moss, and easier to get shot of. It's next on my list..

Matt, yes, I can scrape it off, but it's such a thin layer in places that it's really hard. The thick layers are loads easier. It's just that every bit of concrete or stone has taken on a shade of green and it's not nice. Exercise? What are you trying to say, you cheeky.... ;D

Alistair, thanks - will try some of those tips, have tried it a few times before with the holes and the raking, but seems like the best option.

Thanks all, and if I somehow find a miracle cure I shall post it here.
Aha - found this - might try it, just need to figure out how to keep my cats (and others) off the treated area for a few days:

Alternatively a cup of bleach in a bucket of water, soak the area for 30 min and then use a pressure washer. Not very green though.
