Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

HOL Flower Show - December (aka. what's good in your garden *now*)

Hmmm... December - not traditionally a very exciting month in the garden. Is anything happening out there in the cold?

FAQ
  • What's it all about? See here.
  • Great - where can I see all the 'shows'? See here.
  • Can I contribute? Most welcome. If you can make the image file size modest (say less than 100k), it will be quicker to upload and view.

I spotted a rather bedraggled end of season 'reduced for quick sale' Rudbeckia at Homebase a couple of months ago expecting it not to do anything until next year - it has since perked up considerably...

This is one reason why I think Sedum are such great plants - as soon as you cut back the dead growth from this year, next year's is about to burst onto the scene.

Not much looks good in my garden now I'm afraid, partly because a bloody fox has been digging holes all over the place and has buried a couple of new sedums in the process...

But it didn't bury the stinking hellebore (yes, really) flowers, though I'm a bit worried about the black blotches on its leaves.

And the liriope struggles on.
