Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I've read about these but never seen a domestic one. As i don't have a garden and was refused planning permission for a roof garden I thought it might work for me. Although i wonder if one would need planning permission even for one of these... Anyway, would be great to hear of anyone who knows anything at all about the idea..

Hi Sara, can't offer any advice, but have been looking into it too. Was thinking about putting in planning permission so this message is more to keep track of any messages you might get. I would be really interested to find out how you get on, even if there is little response here.......
Ah sadly the structural engineer says it's no go as my joists won't take the load. Even for shallow soil it's 80kg / square metre. astroturf for me (2.5kg per metre squared) but a nice dream while it lasted. good luck with yours Colin.
