I plan to remove a small magnolia and a heavily pruned mock orange from my garden.
Magnolia's can be tricky to transplant, this one has not thrived in its planting position (planted close to a fence, so much of the foliage is to one side). I'm happy to sever the roots around the base to help its chances and leave for a few months if there are any takers (but can of course dig up now).
The mature mock orange (Philadelphus) was poorly positioned but thrived, however I heavily pruned this back. Any takers?
I've attached a photo of the magnolia.
