Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

HI fellow gardeners,

I was wondering if anyone can help me with some information. I need some natural wood chip for my paths in my garden. Last year I got some from a tree surgeon cutting down a pear 2 doors from our house in Rutland Gardens. I haven't seen any tree sugeons around this year and was wondering if anyone knows of a pile nearby or knows a tree sugeon? (I don't use/like the sold some from Homebase as I just like the woodland look. ).

Any help would be great,

Thanks,

Sonya

Try the garden centre inside Finsbury Park. Its next to the Manor House gates.

Thanks - will do.

Yes, I would do this, I got 4 bags a while back from there and actually just gave one away... Give Ray a call, he was the chat that helped me- +44 20 8809 4832

Try the old railway viaduct on the Parkland Walk over St James Lane in Muswell Hill. Tree surgeons took some trees out last year and the Friends of the Parkland Walk have been trying to remove the piles of woodchip ever since. You'd be most welcome to help by taking some away.

Dear Simon,

Thank you soo much for your great tip! I pulled the whole family up there last Saturday and got some buckets filled with wonderful soft woodland wood chip, and yes you're right, there is so much there still.

Thanks again for passing on this tip to me,

Best wishes, Sonya
