Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

A cat has invited herself into our house. She seems to be less than a year old, mostly white with a black tail and black patches on her head. Vet said she is not chipped and could give birth any day. We have informed Stokey, Justine and Barbara. Cat is safe for now in our box room. We have 3 cats and a 5 month old Cockapoo so can't keep this little cat. She doesn't want to be photographed in her present condition. Anybody up for a challenge? Anybody recognise the description and lost her?

Thank you for looking after this cat! I think it's too early to look for a home for her. She needs a safe place to give birth and after that she needs couple of months to bring the kittens up. I thought Barbara from Cats Protection was going to help. Please let us know as we will be able to keep the cat in a foster home until the cat family will be ready for re-homing. Also, home checks prior to re-homing are vital which we would be able to help with too. Please do get in touch if you need our help (Stokey Cats...and dogs)

Thanks Elzbieta. We have had dealings over the years with Wood Green animal shelters at Heydon and Godmanchester. Godmanchester agreed to take her in today. She was seen by a vet and will be given to one of their foster caters today to oversee birth and rearing.

That's good news! She'll be safe and well looked after! Thank you for the update Kieran!

Well done Kieran. It was so good of you to act quickly and keep the cat safe inside until a place was found as it would have been terrible if the cat ended up having the kittens outside.

Plus you're right - the Wood Green Animal Shelter Godmanchester branch is a good place. I'm so glad they were able to take her. It's always nice to hear a happy ending!
