Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I've had such a positive experience at Julie's Lifelong Yoga that I thought i'd do a quick write up incase there are any mums or mums to be who are looking for a yoga class near the Harringay Rail station.

I joined Julie's yoga class when pregnant and found it to be one of the highlights of my week, and even more so as I approached "B-Day".  The birthing class was by far the most useful I attended (even more so than NCT!) and were given the big thumbs up by my ever sceptical husband after our daughter was born.

Classes are held in Julie's home in Elyne Road, where she creates a cozy and relaxed environment to exercise and discuss birth and parenting. Julie shares new mums' birth stories, and provides a useful program of exercises for birth and after.  As well as exercise there is a chance to make friends which is of course a real bonus if you live in the area.

After birth, the mums and babies classes are held weekly and Julie's program gets mums back into shape while showing how exercise can be fun for babies too.  Crying babies, as well as noisy talkers and (almost) crawlers are made welcome and enjoy a chance for singing and exercise after the mums have had their turn.

Great to read a good review! I'm moving to the neighbourhood in a couple of weeks and am 4.5 months along, so was keen to find a nice class to join. So will definitely look up Julie's class! :)

Congratulations! It's a great neighbourhood to be a mum in, and Julie's classes are a good way to meet other mums! Also make sure you check out the NCT activities in Haringey. Good luck and enjoy your pregnancy :)

Yes, do! I went to Julie's classes in 2011, when expecting my daughter, and they were a high point of my week.
