We had a practice walk last week end and the response was very positive. Here’s some of the very nice things people said:
“Just wanted to thank you for the walk on Saturday…you both came across as friendly, knowledgeable, relaxed, well-prepared, and entertaining. And I enjoyed the walk. Oh, and tea was excellent too.
Thanks again - and good luck with your future walks.”
“Just a quick word to thank you for yesterday. It was a truly fascinating walk in which you both shed so much light on many different aspects of that terrible conflict whose outset we are commemorating this year. I was really impressed by the trouble you had taken
over the research and I came away with a very vivid view of the experience that people of that part of London would have lived through during and after the war.
Thanks again so much and good luck for the walks you are doing in coming weeks.”
“I really enjoyed the walk because you brought home the local and home front aspects of the war which will stimulate both locals to Crouch End and others.
The content was varied, with both wide ranging and specific elements with really good local anecdotes and personal stories.”
8th June is fully booked, but there's space on 21 June, 20 July, and 9th and 10th August.
