Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I'm not sure whether this counts as a conflict of interests , but I'm hoping to take a course in counselling skills next month. However, the administrator has said that they're a couple of students short of the critical number and, if no one else signs up within the next week, the course won't run...

...so, in case anyone is interested in making up the numbers, here's a link to more information:

http://www.cpta.org.uk/l4-diploma-in-therapeutic-counselling

It takes place in Islington on Thursdays (9.30am to 4.30 pm). It's a Level 4 course so some relevant knowledge is necessary (e.g. previous CPCAB qualifications or equivalent psychology/counselling experience).

Sorry if it sounds like I'm promoting the course. Honestly, the only reason why I'm hoping other people will sign-up is so that it will run -- I promise I'm not on commission!

I wish I did because I've only read good things about it. But I've never seen a course in it, let alone met anyone with a qualification -- which is odd given that I've known an art therapist, a gesalt therapist and even an equine therapist...

there are lots of mindfulness courses available in North London and online, see below link.

If you're interested in mindfulness (which is brilliant), you might also want to look up some DBT skillsheets. I've found that sort of therapy incredibly useful and I honestly believe everyone should give it a go, regardless of mental heal status!
