Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi there,

I’ve had success with Harringay Online in the past so thought I’d give this a go…

My partner and I are looking to buy our first ever flat. I’ve lived in Haringey for 4 years and want to stay!

We’ve got a budget of £325k. We need 1 bedroom, separate living/kitchen area and some outside space (balcony, garden etc).

We like all kinds of architectural styles and are open to any era of design.

Let me know if you are looking to sell your flat, we’d love to come and see it! The housing market is so quick at the moment we don’t feel we can keep up or afford anything we like - please also let us know if you have any tips!

Many thanks in advance

Hi,
Assuming that budget is for the flat alone (and you have other money aside for solicitors/surveys), I would go towards N22/N17 (some of these postcodes still fall within Haringey).

Have you looked at Purple Bricks? We found it very useful when looking to buy our flat, as sometimes agencies are a bit of a gamble.

I would try not to buy a flat in a new building owned by big investments groups, because fees might be very high, and the leaseholder can increase them as they please.

Good Luck with your search! :)

My flat has everything you need and I'm selling it for £300k.  I already have a buyer though sorry!

Just want to reassure you that what you are looking for can be found in this area if you consider an ex local authority block. I've had eight very happy, comfortable years here.

Ah! We missed the viewing on your flat - it was our dream! Let us know if anything changes, we’d love to have a look :-)

thank you both!

Good luck in your search! I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.
