Would anyone have a palm sander (Makita maybe) that I could borrow for a couple of days please?

I did try using my own sander but the sandpaper that clips on keep breaking and someone told me that it was not a suitable one and that the Makita model was better!? Well, I am a new garden owner and have an old bench that needs painting while we have the sun, so if you have a better sander than mine sitting around I would be a careful and grateful user.
