Woman disappears after attempted robbery in Fairfax Road

A woman who narrowly escaped being robbed in Green Lanes is being sought after by police.

The woman was near Fairfax Road at 12.10am on Sunday, January 24, when she was hassled by two men.

Haringey police on patrol spotted the attempted mugging and later were able to detain two suspects.

But the victim slipped away and attempts to trace her have proved unsuccessful.

Robbery squad officers are now urging the woman to come forward to help with the case.

A man has been charged with attempted robbery.
