Luckily it's warm and sunny here in Berlin 17°C - which is much too warm for the end of October

Sorry, i don't understand the relevance of this post. Is it unusual to be cold in NY this time of year ? I spoke to a friend in NY last night he didn't mention any unusual weather patterns there.
