Willow art with wild bird boxes at Gardens community garden

The Gardens Residents' Association have been working today on a Willow Art with Wild Bird Boxes installation funded by the Community Wildlife Fund - Big Lottery.

The following report was forwarded to us today from the GRA Yahoo Group:

"Work is progressing well and more work will need to be done. Nothing has been installed yet; we just fixed them temporarily for the meeting. The bird box version will have a lot more willow built into it. We are looking at 3 circles on one side and five on the other in different sizes with one box on one side and one on the other.

"The planned installation date is by late May hopefully in time for the Garden inspections for the Green Flag and RHS In Bloom - I will keep you informed of further progress and an installation date soon.

"We really think they will have a great visual impact into the garden but also blend in and compliment the garden."
