In response to the comments from John Mc Queen (see below), I would appreciate your comments. My view is that you only have to go over to Crouch End to see how they deal with paving, i.e much better pavement slabs than our bitumen, e.g see the new "cut to fit" slabs (better than even slabs + infilling red bricks) laid outside the school on Tregaron Av Grove. There is inconsistency in what he is saying here. Is this a conservation area?
Would be interested to know why Pembreton Road got priority/ better footpaths and if anyone has knowledge of why other roads are prioritised? Lothair Road South and Cavendish Rd are my richer neighbours. I am starting to wonder if there is favouritism and whether this is fair? I am not finding the councelor I use very helpful. Can you recommend someone who could fight a better case for me? Considering Alroy Road is the path for many users going to the park, particularly joggers, it's crazy that they would also prioritise roads with less footfall.
I hope that you can help.

Ask him why Effingham Rd has been done so beautifully then. Some people have suggested that it is because an ex-mayoress lives on this street but I think they are being cynical old men.
A response obviously in connection to the FOI I requested, correcting John Mc Queen's email above. I think that there is still grounds to investigate Effingham Road, i.e. why did they get part paving and not all "bitmac", in line with "Haringey Councils policy to use bitmac on all residential footways". The FOI will hopefully help shed some light, due 19th April.
Dear Mr Bannon
Thank you for your enquiry regarding pavement surfacing in your area. Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your enquiry.
I am afraid there must have been some confusion with your interpretation of John McQueen's response. The pavement on Wightman Road between Lothair Road South and Cavendish Road is to be resurfaced, not the pavements of Lothair Road South and Cavedish Road.
It was deemed necessary to partly resurface Effingham Road in artificial stone paving. The bitmac verge was constructed in order to protect the paving slabs from damage due to vehicles over riding the pavement.
Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me or John McQueen.
