Who is @TottenhamCake ?
The Labour Party are trying to uncover the real identity of @TottenhamCake on Twitter. If you know who it is, please help them keep this secret. They have been a great help over St Ann's and other issues and I am sure that the reason Haringey Labour want to unmask them is to issue a Harassment Notice. They have become ridiculously litigious as details of their inner workings and coverups have been made public. Shameful.

What diseased organisations the two Haringey Labour Parties have become. And what a tragedy for the many members and remaining party candidates who are people of integrity, honesty, and left-wing principles.
So the voters are increasingly faced with choosing between people who are - for all practical purposes - three or four varieties of Tory candidate. Or perhaps, candidates who know how foetid and rotten things have become, but choose to keep quiet and do nothing.
In the film The Lives of Others about East Germany there's a scene where Stasi trainees are shown a video of an interrogation. One trainee asks: "Why keep him awake for so long. It's inhuman" . The instructor makes a mark next to the questioner's name.
John, they've made a mark next to your name. A small perhaps irritating and apparently insignificant mark. But real enough. And which restricts your freedom of expression and of speech. And by implication threatens the same for everyone.
All the more poignant because the motivation for our law was not to remove people's civil rights; but actually to protect individuals from real harassment. But as we know, small steps are how it begins.
