Which white wooden blinds?

We recently got a quote for white wooden blinds from John Lewis. There's always a certain reassurance in buying from them. However, before we take the plunge, I'm sure that there are alternative suppliers. Does anyone have any experience of being white wooden blinds in the last few years – either good or bad? I'd be very grateful if you could share.
