Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

What’s Up at Railway Fields’ is an opportunity for people who love plants to learn more about them in a very exciting way. We have cleared spaces in the past year, letting in light. As a result, seeds under the ground will sprout – and we have no idea what will come up! We are looking for volunteers to help us find out. Species loss is a serious problem nationally and globally. This project will play a part in monitoring bio-diversity at our Local Nature Reserve to see how we are doing in Harringay.

If you'd like to get involved there will be a brief, free training session on Saturday April 27,  2-3pm when Clif Osborne of The Conservation Volunteers will show you the cleared spaces and give guidance on what to look out for. Then visit Railway Fields whenever convenient to you, look at your space to see What’s Up, and record it on your sheet. Drop the sheet back to the Cabin. So easy and you’ll be contributing to Citizen Science. Children may also take part, with adult accompaniment.
