What happened on Green Lanes tonight?

I noticed the pubs were shut around 10:30pm and there seemed a lot of police about?

The Salisbury was shut as about 30 Travellers arrived at about 19:30 and were harassing the bar staff, bringing bags of cans in and drinking them in the pub. The police arrived then the staff cleared all the tables and shut the pub. We left and went to Brouhaha. When i walked past at 10:30 they were all sat the same table with police stood over them while they carried on drinking (the bar had not served a drink since 20;30). I can only assume that it was considered safer for them and for the pub to let them run out if steam rather than attempt to move them.
