Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The Lancatser and hurricanes went straight over Harringay on their way home. Right over the top of my house, giving me a great view from my living room window. Quite spine tinglingly nostalgic.

Did anyone else catch a peep?

Any chance of you posting it - it seems to be all there is right now.
Not the clearest, I'm afraid.
Very atmospheric - could have been taken in 1945
Yes, I feel that the state of our windows replicated the grey and grainy quality of wartime photography perfectly.
Sssh....sit tight and explain how you creatively mixed the use of filters and editing to flawlessly recreate the look of a mid 20th century colour photo.

You're seeing things again John. What TV aerial?

Not with THAT TV aerial it couldn't :-P

Hugh, I felt like asking you to photoshop that out when I first saw it. Good on you. Now, I'm going to take a picture of Green Lanes from the front of a 141 stopped at Endymion Rd heading north and do you think it would be too much work to photoshop out all the satellite dishes and "to let" signs?
Did a quick and dirty job here three years ago (click the picture to enlarge).
Yes - we saw them from the back window as they flew over the garden. A super view.
We saw them too - it was the highlight of the day for me!!
