Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi neighbors,

Just wondering if anybody is experiencing issues with the pressure and change in temperature of the water in the your houses since last week's flood in Green Lanes?

Since then we haven't been able to take a normal shower, very frustrating!

Thanks,

Veronica

we are having real problems which have got worse as the week has gone on. no showers now and only a slow filling bath for this household...similar with our neighbours in Effingham road

I'm on Lothair Road North and had noticed a distinct drop in pressure but foolishly hadn't made the connection. Is it expected to improve, do you know?

I'm in the Gardens and our pressure is definitely lower.
I've just phoned Thames water, they're saying the leak is fixed. She said the more people that ring and complain the more seriously they'll take it.

Ring 01793 366013 from a mobile or, 0800 714 614, you'll eventually get through to a human being!

I just had a call back from Thames water. The drop in pressure is nothing to do with the burst water main last week, she said they're hoping to fix it by next Tuesday.

It's probably worth ringing 01793 366013 from a mobile or, 0800 714 614 to register that it's a problem at your property.

I've noticed the same thing. I watered the garden the other night and thought I had a kink in my hose pipe as the sprinkler wasn't reaching the edge of the border like it normally would at full pressure. Will give Thames Water a call.

I just had another call back from Thames water, they're hoping to fix the problem by this afternoon. She said it's affecting quite a wide area in North London so we might not notice the difference until tomorrow, or even Thursday.

It's probably still worth ringing 01793 366013 from a mobile or, 0800 714 614 to register that it's a problem at your property.

We are on Lausanne Road and have also noticed this, its still poor today and its making it hard to have shower.

Hello

Been battling with Thames Water since Thursday with regards to the top of Umfreville Road. Have finally been told we will be reconnected to the fixed mains tonight and should have full pressure by Thursday morning.

Not happy with the lack of communication by Thames Water over this. Recommend everyone should ring them on 0800 316 9800, select 1 then 2 and ask for a claims form. Eleven days with so low pressure that my boiler has broken is not on!

Good luck with your claims - and thank goodness for HoL!

I spoke to Thames water again they said the pressure should have been back to normal by yesterday afternoon.

I asked what the problem is and was told a third party has caused the fault. When I asked where the fault is and who the third party are, I was told that it was a data protection issue and I wasnt allowed to know. All a bit strange.

My water pressure is still not back to normal, anyone else still experiencing a problem?

No help to you - but I have the impression that the water pressure at the north end of Wightman is a lot higher than it used to be, resulting in several wet shirt fronts

I thought the pressure was much better in Seymour this morning than it has been recently - but couldn't say for sure when this started. Was definitely very low for a few weeks.

I've just spoken to Thames water again. Apparently they're still working to resolve the 'issue' and it's still affecting a wide area, all a bit vague. She told me the problem started on 4/5/15.

The chances are most properties in the area are being affected but it's not always that noticeable.

Anyone know anything about data protection?
