Water cut off ?

No water coming out of taps at North end of Wightman by the Mosque. Anybody know if there is a supply problem ? Anybody been advised as to when it will be back ?

It's the Thames Water stopcock in the pavement outside. Only affecting a few flats. Pavement and gutter are getting a thorough cleaning.

I tried and they promised that an engineer would be here within 2 hours. Four hours later no sign of the engineer and water is still gushing  out.Try again I suppose :-(

And I tried again and lots of promises but no action as yet. I'm going to have a dump in the New River if they don't hurry up .

Back on now at last. New River remains unsullied.
