Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Warning - Traffic Hell on Green Lanes (and area) today
In case you haven't noticed and are planning on driving anywhere near Green Lanes today, don't! There are temporary traffic lights half way up the hill on Green Lanes going up to Manor House tube (just after the pedestrian crossing) and last I heard traffic was backed up all the way to Wood Green High Road and beyond (and crawling). Can't imagine how long people are going to be stuck in the Arena/Sainsburys for today (if they even managed to get in).
Anyone know how long these roadworks are scheduled for?

Ah, that would explain the gridlock at the Wightman Road/Turnpike Lane junction - traffic trying to go straight ahead from Hornsey into Turnpike Lane seems to be at almost at a standstill - about 3 cars were getting through on every green light. Everyone is in a very good mood!
