warning local bank card cloning

Hi All
My poor boyfriend has had his card cloned - interestingly the person that cloned his card was able to go to 4 supermarkets in Chingford and Loughton and obtain cashback having spent small amounts 53p in one case without having to enter the pin number - he has phoned each of the supermarkets who confirm that it is not their policy to allow this - so clearly this is an inside job, I thought I would just warn everyone to be vigilant as the card was probably cloned locally - clerly by some fairly unintelligent thieves as they did not get his pin number!
Disapointing reaction as usual from the bank and the police nothing new there though!
